Tranby Family

Born and raised in Portland Oregon we moved to Bend in 2006. We love people, exploring the outdoors through backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, traveling, camping, water skiing, snow skiing, and the occasional white water rafting trip.

Having both grown up in church we see a huge separation between what we "know" and what we "believe". As such , God called us to be involved in a different "type" of church (a body of believers). It is your faith, what are you doing/being with it? We believe that church is led from within.

David works for an actuarial consulting firm as a data analyst, with degrees in Psychology, Mathematics, and a M. Div. April is a self-employed Physical Therapist, specializing in pediatrics.

Davis Family

Born and raised in Bend, Andrew loves Central Oregon.  Very few places offer all of the exciting year round opportunities that Bend does, in addition to a great college campus and beautiful landscape.  Michelle was raised in Portland and her family moved to Bend in 2000.  She and Andrew were married in late 2006.

Michelle graduated from Whitman College in 2006 and now works as a teacher in the Redmond School District.  Andrew graduated from Oregon State University-Cascades Campus in 2007 and works with college students on the campus of Central Oregon Community College.

As college students, we saw a need for a church that connected with our demographic.  It wasn't enough to be part of a church.  As believers, we are the church, and should live a life that reflects such a commitment to Christ.  From this perspective, everything that we do provides us with a chance to reflect the God that made us.
